Nexters
Nexters is one of The Big Society Network’s programme’s designed to support and sponsor successful innovative technology enabled businesses that help communities share and engage with each other across a range of social activities.
Nexters are selected for their ability to harness web technologies to socially useful ends, for their potential for rapid scalability that people and communities can access anywhere in the UK, to give, engage and share in their locality. Some people call this hyper local services, some call themselves social enterprises, but what they have in common is the desire to run innovative and successful social businesses.
Ultimately, our vision is to support and inspire budding entrepreneurs to become Nexters , to encourage communities and individuals to adopt Nexter services andprovide companies and organisations with the means of engaging and distributing Nexter services among their employees and clients.
Already we are finding that high profile organisations and brands are working with Nexters to realise their social and employee objectives, and as they grow in capability and expertise, we expect to see a rapid expansion and scalability of Nexters style services emerging.
