The Big Society Network welcomes Clydesdale Partnership
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks to develop and expand our Nexters programme.
Following a successful year developing a range of social entrepreneurs, backed initially by Deloitte, the Nexters program is set to expand into the North of England and Scotland, to double in size and address digital community services.
A significant proportion of Nexters have won grants and investments in the first weeks of 2012, and Nexters are rapidly becoming leaders of the emergent Social Investment sector.
Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks have long supported its local communities and social enterprise in Scotland and the North of England, and their intention is to work alongside a number of Nexters to extend their reach among communities across the UK.
Steve Moore, Chief Executive of the Big Society Network, said:
